this. a thousand times this. just summed it up in a nutshell.
a lot of people get EH and DUB mixed up because they share some common sounds and techniques like the high pitched “noise”, the growling bass, etc. Music is ever evolving and electrohouse and dubstep (specifically the more aggresive upbeat faster one like skrillex and porter robinson, knife party) ire more like cousin genres so that generates confusion
