Why? I haven’t tried the beta, but I’m considering buying it, so I wan’t to know if it’s good or not.
Than I don’t understand why you consider it “horrible”.
It’s the same game, only with updated graphics and an expanded interface. Most, if not all the changes are for the better. Sure there are a bunch of problems and plenty of stuff is more convoluted and confusing than it should be, but this is still Beta and they are constantly changing things. I see no reason to badmouth it and potentially hurt the developers and the game in the long run just because you happen to like hating things.

For everyone who likes the free version, and is wondering whether the new version (currently in beta) is worth 10$.. yes, yes it is. Don’t believe the haters.
Initially you may be put off by a more complex and perhaps unnecessarily convoluted interface, but after an hour or so the addiction sets in and there’s no return.

OMG this game is so hard. I’ve finished ‘normal’ on 2 characters and now neither gauntlet, nor snake pit or any other character just won’t let me pass!
